My Story

Hello, I'm Lauren! I am the owner and founder of NeuroThrive Physical Therapy and Wellness. I created NeuroThrive to provide a unique neurologic physical therapy and wellness experience for residents of the San Fernando Valley. As the granddaughter of a stroke survivor, I have seen firsthand the need for exceptional neurologic PT. Because my grandmother never walked again after her stroke, it is my personal mission to help every person I treat regain hope, confidence, and mobility so they can return to the things that are most meaningful and bring the most joy to them. Being a breast cancer survivor, I understand what it's like to be faced with a life-altering diagnosis. Through NeuroThrive, I provide my clients the empathy, support, and resources to navigate their life-altering neurologic condition. 

My love for the nervous system is deep in my roots. I graduated from the University of Southern California in 2009 with a BA in Neuroscience and in 2013 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. In 2014, I completed a specialized neurologic residency at Precision Rehabilitation in Long Beach, CA. Since then, I have worked at hospital based and privately owned outpatient neurologic physical therapy clinics and have gained extensive experience treating people with all types of neurologic and vestibular diagnoses. ​I am excited to partner with you on your journey to recovery and help you thrive in all the things that bring you the most joy and happiness!
